Description
The Yamaha Super Bass 700 (SB700) was made in Japan during the 1970s. It features an alder body and a maple neck, with square inlays on the fretboard. The SB700 is equipped with two J-style pickups, offering a versatile range of tones suitable for various music genres.
Condition:
- The original pickups were poorly replaced with EMG passive pickups but have since been rewired back in.
- All pots and capacitors have been replaced.
- A Hipshot tuner was installed at one point but has been removed, with the original machine head now reinstalled.
- The original bridge has been replaced with a Gotoh bridge.
- Currently strung with flatwound strings.
- Non-original knobs are fitted.
