Featuring a pair of open-coil double black 490 Alnico II pickups, a Mahogany body, rounded Maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard, the Gibson SG Tribute, finished in Natural Walnut, is a stripped back, no-nonsense workhorse. The 490T bridge position humbucker has emphasised upper mids and treble, giving you crispy, well-defined riffs and licks. Switch to the neck position 490R and you get a slightly lower output pickup, with a balanced response, and crystal-clear articulation.
