Late-‘80s Ibanez SR600 (Fujigen Japan)
This SR600, made in either 1988 or ’89 at the renowned Fujigen factory in Japan, is a clean and classy example of late-‘80s craftsmanship.
Featuring a double-cutaway camphorwood body and a bolt-on laminated maple neck, it’s topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard and pearloid dot inlays. Loaded with EMG P/J-4 pickups, you get a wide tonal palette — from tight punch to deep growl — with individual volume controls and a master tone knob. Other specs include an OMNI Adjust fixed bridge (19mm spacing), Gotoh tuners, and a plastic nut.
