A great piece of early ‘80s Japanese craftsmanship, this 1981 Bill Lawrence Challenger II delivers classic ‘62-style looks and feel in a striking 3-Tone Sunburst finish.
This pre-owned example is in very good condition for its age and has been well looked after. It plays comfortably up and down the neck with no dead spots on the fingerboard, and the truss rod functions as it should. The electronics are working well, and the original pickups have been upgraded to Fender Noiseless pickups.
A solid, reliable vintage-style player with plenty of character.
