The RG421PB showcases a striking poplar burl top on a meranti body, with a bolt-on maple Wizard III neck. It features a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard adorned with white dot position markers. The guitar is equipped with an F106 fixed bridge, a pair of direct-mounted Ibanez Quantum humbucking pickups, a plastic nut, and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
