Description
A killer early-2000s shredder just landed — the Ibanez SA160QM, built in Korea and punching well above its weight.
Featuring a quilted maple top over a mahogany body, this one delivers that classic SA feel — lightweight, fast, and super versatile. The maple neck and rosewood board combo keeps things smooth under the fingers, with a comfortable SA profile and 22 jumbo frets ready for anything from chords to lead work.
This one’s been upgraded, with the bridge pickup swapped out for a DiMarzio Super Distortion, giving you a serious bump in output — thick mids, tight low end, and plenty of bite for rock and metal. The single coils in the neck and middle keep things balanced for cleaner tones, all controlled via a 5-way switch.
Comes complete with a hardcase.
A super versatile, gig-ready guitar with a proper upgrade in the bridge — great value for anyone chasing tones from clean to full throttle.
